Who I Am

I have worked in the corporate world for over 25 years and now focus on our youth. I received my Master of Science in Counseling from California State University, Los Angeles. I also have a California state Marriage and Family Therapist license and a Doctorate in Psychology.

I prefer to work with children who are facing complex challenges, parental divorce/relations, peer relationships, self-esteem, communication and depression. I enjoy helping children and their families work through the developmental issues of growing up and functioning within the family system. 

I work from a Christian perspective and consider a spiritual foundation fundamental to exploring children's and families' challenges.

MY THEORY

I use play therapy with children and their families. I use sand tray as well as games, puppets, drawing and I integrate play into talk therapy as well. All this is done with an emphasis on who we are as God's children.
